Butyl tape

Tacky Tape® is a 100% strong, asbestos-free, highly rubbery butyl tape sealant. A bonded, reinforced component designed to provide moisture and weather sealing for mechanically fastened lap joints. Weatherdek uses Tacky-Tape as the recommended sealant for use with Weatherdek Aluminum L-Trims.

• Easy application with backing paper.
• Resistant to ultraviolet exposure and extreme temperature variations.
• Don't stain.

FACILITY

• Apply to the back of the mechanical fixing bar centering sealing tape over the screw penetrations.
  
• Remove the backing paper before installing the trim.
  
• Make sure all fasteners are installed through tape.
