Tacky Tape® is a 100% strong, asbestos-free, highly rubbery butyl tape sealant. A bonded, reinforced component designed to provide moisture and weather sealing for mechanically fastened lap joints. Weatherdek uses Tacky-Tape as the recommended sealant for use with Weatherdek Aluminum L-Trims.
- Easy application with backing paper.
- Resistant to ultraviolet exposure and extreme temperature variations.
- Don't stain.
FACILITY
- Apply to the back of the mechanical fixing bar centering sealing tape over the screw penetrations.
- Remove the backing paper before installing the trim.
- Make sure all fasteners are installed through tape.
